Dreaming of France -- Finally Going Back

Please join this weekly meme. Grab a copy of the photo above and link back to An Accidental Blog. Share with the rest of us your passion for France. Did you read a good book set in France? See a movie? Take a photo in France? Have an adventure? Eat a fabulous meal or even just a pastry? Or if you're in France now, go ahead and lord it over the rest of us. We can take it.
After nearly five years away from France, I'm finally returning. It's only for 10 days, but I'm ecstatic at the idea of once again immersing myself in French culture. Every picture someone posts from France, I think, I can see that myself very soon.

We'll be traveling to the South of France, so for only three days we'll be in Paris. We've seen most of the main tourist attractions. What should we see or do in Paris?
Earl says he wants to visit a jazz club.
I think I'd like to do a tour or class with a chocolatier.
Now I'm counting on you all to direct us to the best off-the-path places to visit or take a tour or to sit and drink in the wonderful ambiance that is Paris.
I look forward to your suggestions.
Thanks for playing along with Dreaming of France. Please leave a comment and visit each other's blogs too. You never know when you'll find something new to fall in love with.

What fantastic news. When are you going? That's important as suggestions depend a lot on the weather. Have you been to the Palais Garnier? That's my favourite place I think. Well besides the Luxembourg Gardens. We did a chocolate tour in 2013, it was a lovely way to spend a morning. We've done a couple of classes with meeting the french, they've always been good.

It depends on when you are going and what you like. I really enjoyed my tour of a French bakery, I have also done a cycling ride through Paris that took us to Paris' secret spots. I like rue des Matyrs-lots of fun food spots on it.

I'm excited to see what everyone says as well - there's a chance Mark may get to go to Paris to work on a film in the early spring, if he does, you can bet I'm going to!!!
In the meantime I'm still watching and sharing movie trailers in French!

Oops! I used the wrong link in my first try, I sent you to my take on the movie Wild. Here's the link to see the trailer for Wild dubbed in French along with the French marketing poster.
Sorry for the confusion!

Thanks to everyone for your suggestions and encouragement. I can't wait. We're going in the middle of March and most of our time over there will be spent in the south of France, but we saved a few days for Paris, staying in a hotel of Rue Mouffetarde!
I love the ideas so far.
