I'm trying to notice unusual things around me. When I rode my bike to Target last weekend, I saw something I never would have noticed if I'd driven.
The road crews use machines to paint lines along the road. And here, apparently, some leaves got stuck on the roller, leaving their outline in the road stripe. You can also see a faint outline of them to the right of the line too.
I felt like I'd found a modern-day fossil.
I don't why we don't use leaf patterns in our road lines anyway.

That's nice! Would be great if they would do it more, on purpose.
So cool!!
What an interesting photo. Art,I think.
That is so interesting and I agree with you - they should use those in a pattern. Would make it much more appealing. LOL
Haha that's so cool!
Modern fossil! I love it.
I love that! I think it should be a pattern :)
The leaves offer something unique...I think you're on to something. They should do this regularly!
Thanks for sharing.
Here's MY SATURDAY SNAPSHOT
I agree! Add a little public art by putting patterns in our lines!
Neat little coincidence! I agree with Eugenia. It woild be neater to find things like this planned a bit more! Art in everyday life ...
A classic photo! You are right. They should use leaf motifs!
Here is my Saturday Snapshot post!
I don't know why we don't use leaf designs either. They are wonderful.
What a great find! White lines would be a lot of interesting with images like that in them! :)
This is a very cool photo. Too bad it didn't happen more often.
That is so pretty! Very neat that you noticed it!
That is really cool! Would make for some very decorative lines on the road.
Here's my snapshot.
Very cool. I like it.
Nice find. A little bit of street art. We do tend to see more detail when not stuck in the car in traffic.
Love this!!!
Great picture! Also, thanks for stopping by my blog last Saturday. Unfortunately, I don't know your friend in the Journalism department.
