We planted morning glories a couple of years ago and they come back every year. They grow up the black, wrought-iron railing, and this one has decided to take over the rocking chair on the back porch.
The morning glories open in the morning then close the rest of the day. But they're back open, pink and purple, the next morning.

We have them along our back fence too. They're very sweet little flowers.
I love the way they climb on anything they want LOL
I think I will plant the m along our back fence next year. I'd love to see them in bloom.

My mom planted some when I was young and they went right up a telephone pole!
I do love the intricate twisting of the leaves around that chair. When the flowers open, they must be glorious.

That makes sense - I never realized that was why they're called Morning Glories.

My grandmother had morning glories on one sound of the house and four-o'clocks on the other. Such pretty flowers!
