Homecoming 2012

To participate in the Saturday Snapshot meme post a photo that you (or a friend or family member) have taken then leave a direct link to your post on Alyce's blog At Home With Books. Photos can be old or new, and be of any subject as long as they are clean and appropriate for all eyes to see. How much detail you give in the caption is entirely up to you. Please don’t post random photos that you find online.
Tucker went to the homecoming dance last Saturday with a big group from his class. But he and his friend Josh were the only two guys who showed up for photos on time.
They all decided to wear black and I love to see the girls' colorful shoes, although I couldn't walk in most of them.
Tucker is in the red tie kneeling in front. The next day he said his hips hurt -- probably from shaking his booty, although those weren't his words.

Some of the other guys showed up later so they got another shot with more even numbers.

Wow, they look great all in black. I have no idea how those girls can walk in those shoes, let alone dance!

WOW, the first thing I noticed besides the "all black" was not one girl with short hair. I was pretty much the same when I graduated 40 years ago...LOL

I love the shoes too! No broken ankles from prancing around in them all evening ?! A miracle!

I love the colorful shoes too - and I already told you your son is a cutie. I hope his 'hips' recover!

That's pretty fun to go with black + bright as a homecoming theme. Looks like a great time!

The shoes just take a little practice -- I love my high heels!

I have to say that Homecoming dresses are a lot shorter than when I was in school. Coordinating their outfits made for a great picture!

Very cool that they all wore black! The shoes definitely show some personality. I'm not a big fan of wearing heels either though. :)

Great shots! I wonder why they all decided to wear black? They do look elegant, though. And those shoes are definitely too tall for me! lol

Thanks for visiting my blog.

How fun! I couldn't walk in those shoes either. What amazes me is the guys with facial hair in high school - it was like that when my son was in high school (he graduated in 2005) but not when I was. I don't think the guys could have grown a beard or a mustache if they wanted to way back when.

Those colorful shoes are fun to see--but look painful to walk in!

Those look like killer shoes! I like wearing heels but keep them around 3 inches since I am almost 5'10. Sounds like your son had a fun time at the dance.

This is going to make me sound like a granny what the heck. They all have such long legs!

Those girls certainly express their personality through their shoes! Glad your son enjoyed himself. No Snapshot from me this week, but I'm enjoying looking at everyone else's.

Blessed Lord!
I'm an advocate of polygamous dating, to a certain extent -- but holy cow! These two lads really must know what they're doing!
I mean, this calls for a total re-write of the chorus in that Jan & Dean song "Surf City".
Because this [the second picture] is more like.... "Eight-and-a-half girls for every boy!"

Many people visit Paris in August, but mostly they run into other tourists. This year, there seem to be fewer tourists throughout the city ...
