Maybe we can all satisfy our
yearnings for France, until we get there again.
You aren't supposed to take pictures inside the Musee d'Orsay in Paris. It was a gorgeous train station that now houses many Impressionist paintings.
Here's a shot from the top balcony across the length of the museum.
And then by turning around and taking a picture from inside the clock, here's a shot of the Seine and all of Paris with a faraway look at Sacre Coeur up on the hill. I liked the clock in part of the foreground.

I don't know why museums ban nonflash photography. It's crazy. We went to the Musee d'Orsay last time. I can't believe I didn't see the clock view though.... Another excuse to go back.
Lovely. Love that shot through the clock looking out at the Seine.
I think I'm in but not sure I did it all correctly!

Musee d'Orsay is one of my favorite museums. I visited it just a few years ago, memories still fresh. I'll keep this in mind... Dreaming of France on Mondays. Thanks for hosting.
I have some photos before they outlawed them. If the Louvre allows photography, then every museum in Paris should!
Great shot!
