Saturday Snapshot-- Stained Glass Reflection

To participate in the Saturday Snapshot meme post a photo that you (or a friend or family member) have taken then leave a direct link to your post on Alyce's blog At Home With Books. Photos can be old or new, and be of any subject as long as they are clean and appropriate for all eyes to see. How much detail you give in the caption is entirely up to you. Please don’t post random photos that you find online.

Grace took this photo while touring a church in Montmartre in Paris. I could assume that this is Sacre Coeur, but I can't ask her right now because she is partying in Rome this weekend. I think she took this shot during her visit with Linda who writes the blog Frenchless in France.
I love the way the colors reflect on the columns.

Oh gosh . . . the old churches in Paris are so beautiful I got all misty-eyed walking through them. What a great shot with the colors on the column like that!

Paris just has some of the best architecture, along with Italy. So beautiful. I've been to Europe a few times, but have yet to visit Paris, which I am hopeful that I'll be visiting soon!

How lovely. Grace needs to take a photo of my apartment and make it look so good! I'm in the middle of reading Pillars of the Earth for the second time. It heightens my appreciation of the ancient churches and cathedrals of Europe, which sometimes seem a bit like a dime a dozen when they're right next door.

Nice capture of the light effects. I haven't been to Paris, but I did see the old churches in Rome and the stained glass was strikingly beautiful.

Yes, she was with me. It looked like the columns were lit from within. I have one ready for posting as well.
