To participate in the Saturday Snapshot meme post a photo that you (or a friend or family member) have taken then leave a direct link to your post on Alyce's blog At Home With Books. Photos can be old or new, and be of any subject as long as they are clean and appropriate for all eyes to see. How much detail you give in the caption is entirely up to you. Please don’t post random photos that you find online.
I took this photo on an early morning walk to meet my friend Sheila. What I love about the picture, is that it could have been taken in the middle ages with the spire of the church, the tree limbs and the bright moon.

It looks very Gothic!
Wow! That is an amazing photo...would make a great book cover.
It looks like a book cover for a ghostly story....wow!
Thanks for sharing.
Here's MY SATURDAY SNAPSHOT and
MY WEBSITE
It does have a timeless feel to it. That must have been VERY early morning!
Here's my Snapshot
Really beautiful photo, Paulita! I agree, it does look like it could have been 100 years ago or longer. You were indeed up early!
It has a rather creepy feel to it.
It looks very eerie and spooky!
Very Gothic feeling. This shot would make a great Halloween card or as Lisa suggested a wonderful book cover. Great shot!
Eerie looking and at the same time serene. I was thinking it was night time. I would never be up that early unless I hadn't gone to bed yet.
awesome shot.
Looks like the perfect backdrop for an old London detective mystery :)
Great photo. As you said it could be from almost any time or any place. Someone should buy it for a book cover: Historic novel, romance, fantasy, ghost story, it would work on any of those.
This is such an awesome shot. Very atmospheric.
Awesome picture.
What a perfect picture.
Capturing serenity and eeriness, all at once.
P.S. I agree with mostraum, this should be a book cover!
It would make a great book cover. (oh I see everyone else thought that too!)
I love that shot. I took some photos of it too and didn't think they turned out but I was pleasantly surprised that one did!
