My husband accompanied my daughter to France. She has gone for three months; he went for a week to make sure she got there safely because she hates flying. They visited Mont St. Michel while in France so here are a couple of photos.

Here's an interesting detail shot that Grace took:

The tide was low, which allowed everyone to park in the lot until the tide comes in.

And here's a shot of Grace back on dry land:

Those are great. Your husband was great to have flown with her instead of letting her face her fears alone...how sweet.
I love the architecture. So beautiful. I bet your husband and daughter had a great time together.
Like Grace, I don't love flying! Otherwise I would have already gone to Berlin to visit my son!
I go on shorter flights without too much difficulty.
Thanks for sharing the lovely shots.
Here's MY SATURDAY SNAPSHOT and

I've always wanted to go to Mont St. Michel and have never made it there. I love your photos!
Wow, I can't even imagine what it took to construct that fortress. And I can understand your daughter's dislike of flying. It used to be fun and an adventure. Now it's just tedious and stressful.
Those are lovely! I especially love the one with the arches and the airplane trail.
Wow. Beautiful photos. Thank you for sharing. :)
Those make me wish I could fly there today. What great shots!
Those are fabulous. Mont St. Michel is on my wish list. one day...
How wonderful, I hope they had a wonderful time.
Father and daughter going together is so good. I loved visiting places with my dad! Wonderful photos!
Here is my Saturday Snapshot post!
Wonderful pictures! I love the angle and perspective in the shots of the building.
I'm running late on posting this week...but I have a really good reason.

I like the addition of the shadowy effect around the corners of the first pix. It gave some mystery vibe to it. The second one with the architectural detail plus a plane flying overhead. Great father and daughter time. :D
Oh I love Mont St Michel. We were lucky enough to go there in 1998. It's such an amazing place. I particularly love your second shot. (BTW I think I've fixed the problem with my photos this week)
