Saturday Snapshot -- Details
I've been neglecting my blog the past few days -- attending parties and parades in celebration of the Fourth of July.
I went to a party at a friend's house and she has such a good eye for decorating details. She created shelves in her bathroom by recessing them into the wall. She lined the shelves with small glass jars filled with flat glass beads.

I'm always astonished at how clever some people are- and how much thought and effort they put into things like this.
I love decorative jars and bottles....they add just the touch of beauty one needs in places like bathrooms and kitchens. Thanks for sharing, Paulita...and for visiting my blog.
They are pretty - I like using unusual jars as well.
Such a simple idea and so striking! And you were clever to take a picture of her decorating idea too.
Thank you for leaving such a nice comment on my blog post.
Pretty! Sadly I'm not one of those creative people. I rely on others to give me ideas.
They are very pretty. I would call the jar a kilner jar.
Nice! And I'm so happy to read I'm not the only one without any creative muscles.
I live the looks of those jars! I do similar things: I have a line up of various colored glass bottles on my bureau, used to be in a window in my other home but in this new one my cats would be able to knock them over and break on the tiled floor.
Have a great week and keep enjoying this weekend!
Very clever and colorful
