Part of living the way I want my life to turn out (see my post from Thursday), means enjoying treats that I want in my future too. So I have no problem buying these mini croissants from Trader Joe's and letting them rise overnight.
They're so tiny when I lay them on my battered cookie sheet the night before. The next morning they've risen so high.
I brush beaten egg onto the risen croissant then bake them.
Yum, they're delicious with homemade strawberry jam or honey.
Hope you're having a treat today too.

I will have to try those next time I am at Trader Joe's they look delicious.
Definitely worth the price, Sheila. You'll feel like you're in France.
Ok, these are not the best, but they are good. and you get them hot and fresh.
Maybe the best you can get at home. Can't compare to eating croissants in France, of course. Just being in France makes them taste better.
I love Trader Joe's and now I must check these out! Thanks for sharing...and for visiting my blog.
They also have chocolate croissants. I'm making those tomorrow.
You may not be in France (yet), but at least you get to eat croissants!
Mmm...I love croissants!
Yummy. Chocolate ones for me. I always end up buying things I don't need when I go to Trader Joe's.
I love croissants - that's such a good way to start the day. Thanks for visiting my post.
Seriously??? I want these!!!!
Yum...Trader Joes is a good 25 miles from us so I never get there:(
I think I had too much of a treat yesterday -- I fear I could down every single one of those. Yet another thing to add to the TJ list!
I've never tried making croissants at home. It looks fun and easy. Not sure we have a Trader Joe's around here, however. Still I'll try to look for it.
