Also, making my day is a selfie shot sent by my daughter Grace.
I texted her back and said, "I told you to dump that guy!"
But luckily, I'm joking and I know that she is in her stage makeup class doing her best to look bruised and battered.

YES! I remember him reading the story on NPR years ago. She goes shopping after the shoot still in make-up.

I'm here in the States and am so enjoying that uniquely American holiday of Halloween. Had fun seeing all of the costumes and handing out candy.
