Last week, the trees were all bare. Some flowers had popped through, but the weather wasn't nearly warm enough to call forth spring.
But this week, we had some glorious warm weather and the foliage responded. I think this is a weeping cherry tree with its pretty pink buds.
I love how bright green the leaves are when they first emerge. If I made crayons, I would call this color tender green.
I should know what kind of tree this is, but I don't, so I'll just enjoy the cascade of flowers all over it.
Hope the weather and the plant life are beautiful wherever you are this week.

Lovely -- we are not quite that far along with spring blooms, but getting there:)
I love the first green and the blossoms of spring...my nasal passages, not so much. lol
But that's why they make antihistamines!
Thanks for sharing...and here's MY SATURDAY SNAPSHOT POST
Beautiful pictures -- I bet that weeping cherry will be amazing when in full bloom. I haven't seen one in person in years!
Here is my SATURDAY SNAPSHOT post.
What beautiful colors you're getting... we're grey and snowy this week.
We were near Columbus last week as we drove home from our winter sojourn.
Nothing bloom here yet but it has rained since we got home last Friday so something better bloom soon!!
i love that last flowering tree; wish I knew the name too.
Such a lovely sign of spring!
I love tender green too- great name! Beautiful pictures of your spring. Our trees are beautiful here at the moment, but we have the lovely burnished golds and reds of autumn....
Lovely blossoms. Spring is such a lovely time of year.
Beautiful! It still feels like winter here, no blooms yet in northern Ohio.
Love the spring photos! I have been enjoying seeing all of the trees bud and blossom for the first time in our neighborhood. :)
There is nothing like the tender green that comes with spring and it tells you enjoy me now as I am changing by the hour.
Lots of great colors in your post. Love them all!
