You can share a book with someone else with a Kindle for two weeks-not sure how it works, but I read about it. The author with the blog Bedlam Farm has some good thoughts about getting on the technology train. He also did videos of his dogs and increased the sales of his books a lot. Wish it were easier to learn all of this technology.Lindahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07041872314763651462noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-32469880.post-37534590886870864622011-03-26T21:24:05.478-04:002011-03-26T21:24:05.478-04:00Bonjour Paulita,

I launched an emag and readers tell me they love it, but tstill there is something about print...everything is changing.
Thanks for your visit, come and have a seat anytime!
Bon weekend,
MimiBonjourRomancehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10127856263588277808noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-32469880.post-90728033730533358482011-03-25T15:59:29.677-04:002011-03-25T15:59:29.677-04:00Libraries are really getting on board with the ebo...Libraries are really getting on board with the ebooks and audio books. Now that is a plus.

For so long I refused to give up my newspaper subscription. I still love actual newspapers (period).

At the same time, I'm thrilled with being able to access so many more columnists and blogs online.

I took tons of books with me on my last vacation - big mistake - If we hadn't used points to upgrade to First Class where they still treat you like humans and let it go this time...it would have been a costly mistake.

I love real books too, but there is a lot more room in my life and in my home for electronic ones too.

I think its great that you are so open. Both and morenoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-32469880.post-65912429603886883382011-03-25T15:14:27.520-04:002011-03-25T15:14:27.520-04:00Lucia, I see your point about the dropped eReader....Lucia, I see your point about the dropped eReader. Still, they have to be making these things stronger because kids drop their iPods and phones all the time.
Linda, Good point about passing on books, but maybe the cheaper price assuages some of that guilt about not passing it on. Also think of the paper and ink you are saving. No problems charging the eReader when you were in Paris?Paulitahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02611117766982930997noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-32469880.post-45925129632594816072011-03-25T11:46:46.821-04:002011-03-25T11:46:46.821-04:00I bought an e-reader for my trip to Paris. There is no way I could have packed 9 books in my suitcase, I needed room for shoes! :) I DO love a paper book but price-wise you can't beat the price of an e-book. The only issue I have is that once I read an e-book, what am I supposed to do with it. I like passing on my books. ah well, pros and cons on both sides.Lindahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06951529384024660619noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-32469880.post-41316761168156066202011-03-25T11:00:49.597-04:002011-03-25T11:00:49.597-04:00I take the subway and if I had an e-reader on the ...I take the subway and if I had an e-reader on the subway I would probably break it because of the way the trains jerk around, if a book falls out of my hand no problem. Also if I buy books I can share them too! I can't share an e-reader I wouldn't want to. Alas I do not have one...so I have no point. Or do I?
(I prefer books)Luciahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02064247260945638783noreply@blogger.com
