That said - I went to Mizzou and loved it so I'm sad he won't be going there :) Just kidding. Since I'm from St. Louis I thought it was perfect - close enough that I could come home on the weekends but far enough away that I had my own life and had to be an adult. A lot of my friends from high school went there but I also met a lot of new people that I'm still friends with today. So I'm sure it will be similar for your son being 2 hours away.
